Pop star extraordinaire Justin Timberlake, is to return to his home town of Memphis with the intention of buying the old recording studio and label
of the original trouser snake, Elvis Presley.
Timberlake is heading up a consortium of investors who are all eager to buy the Sun label, Stax label and a massive recording complex.
Ray Fleming of the Memphis Music Foundation says: "We love Justin. He's a native. It's very exciting to have someone of his significance participate in the music scene here."
If successful Timberlake will have acquired three labels in the space of one year; he launched his own label JayTee earlier this year.
Not bad going for a mere 24 year old.
