Bono and Bob Geldof are hotly tipped by bookmakers to scoop the Nobel Peace Prize next month.
When the nominees were announced two months ago both were 66-1 to win the award. However, as the BBC reports, bookies are now touting them at 7-1.
Both stars are tipped to win the award because of their campaigning to end third world debt and their outspoken political reviews.
They are amongst 166 nominees named as contenders nominated for the prestigious award.
However, current favourite for the award is Finnish president Martti Ahtissari who brokered a peace deal in Indonesia. He currently stands at 4-1.
