At least 11 people have been killed and up to 50 others injured as they attempted to enter a concert in South Korea.
Over 10,000 music fans were entering a public park in the city of Sangiu, 270 kilometres southeast of Seoul, when a stampede ensued as the people were herded through just one gate.
The Korean news agency Yonhap news is reporting that the people at the front of the queue were crushed by the crowd building up behind them.
All the victims have been taken to two local hospitals. The concert was being organised by local TV station MBC.
