 Bon Jovi are set to be the first act to play the newly built Wembley Stadium next year.

The eighties throwbacks are scheduled to play the stadium on June 11 2006 as part of their world tour.

The date comes just weeks after the ground officially re-opens for the FA Cup final in May.

As the Daily Mirror reports, the gig is just part of a string of stadium dates planned across the UK. We better watch out.
