It has been reported that old misery guts himself has relocated to Italy with Killers’ producer Jeff Salzman, to begin work on the follow-up to ‘You Are The Quarry.’
Mozza will be working in the legendary Ennio Morricone’s (soundtrack king to such classics as Fistful of Dollars and The Good The Bad And The Ugly) former studio – which is located in the catacombs of a 17th Century church. Spooky.
Furthermore, according to his publicist, the next record will be “the most full-on rock record Morrissey’s ever done. It’s a balls-to-the-wall rock record, not a slow one like the last one.”
The album is close to completion and should be ready for release next spring, XFM have reported today.
