The Who are set to release a live DVD compiling footage that originally appeared on the Tommy and Quadrophenia soundtracks.
The package will come with three discs containing two concert performances, unseen footage and commentary from Who frontman Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend.
The Quadrophenia material is lifted from the band’s US tour from 1966-67, while the rare, unseen footage comes from a 1964 London pub gig.
The Tommy material was shot in Los Angeles in 1989 and features special guest appearances from Sir Elton John, Billy Idol, Patti La Belle and Steve Winwood.
Other extra footage includes live versions of Daltrey and Townshend solo hits, as well as acoustic performances of Who tracks.
