John Peel Day Details Announced

The BBC have announced the first details for the first ever John Peel day to held next month in memory of the legendary DJ.

The event will centre on a gig on October 13 that is being held at London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall featuring the like of Super Furry Animals, New Order and The Fall with Radio 1 broadcasting the whole thing live.

The show runs from 6.30pm till 10.45pm, the artists announced so far are:

New Order
Super Furry Animals
The Fall
Laura Cantrell
Misty in Roots
Venetian Snares
Jawbone
