Chaka Khan's Son Faces Murder Trial

The son of R&B star Chaka Khan was yesterday ordered to stand trial over the shooting of a teenager at a party in September 2004.

Damien Patrick Holland surrendered to police on February 28 of this year after he learned that prosecutors had charged him of the murder of 17 year old Christopher Baily.

They stated that Holland had shot Baily as two struggled for a gun during a fight.

Holland was originally arrested but released when prosecutors said there was not enough evidence to charge him. Police in charge of the investigation later found further witnesses allowing the charges to be brought against Holland.
