The new War Child album has been downloaded 80,000 times over the weekend.
‘Help: A Day In The Life’ was launched on Friday afternoon (September 9) and already organisers are hailing it as a success.
An array of artists including Babyshambles, Coldplay, Maximo Park, Mylo and Razorlight recorded tracks within 24 hours for the album.
However, organisers seem won over by Radiohead’s contribution 'I Want None Of It'. War Child spokesman Julian Carrera told the BBC: "There are a few tracks that I think people will love instantly. The Radiohead track is absolutely beautiful."
The album, featuring 22 tracks from different artists, will get a physical release on September 26. Artwork comes from ex-Stone Roses star John Squire.
