Limp Bizkit are being sued by their own insurance company, United National, over the death of a teenager at their Big Day Out concert in Sydney in 2000.
United National have pleaded to a Los Angeles court to absolve them from paying the band’s legal fees, which have apparently escalated to hundreds of thousands of smackers.
A Sydney court found Limp Bizkit not guilty of the death of teenager Jessica Michalik, who was crushed to death at the concert. But despite the innocent verdict, United National are insisting that the band were responsible for Jessica’s death and should therefore also be responsible for their court costs, undercover.com report.
United Nations – a lesson in how not to get ahead and influence people.
