An expert has claimed that listening to excessive music can cause hallucinations.
Dr Victor Aziz, a psychiatrist at Whitchurch hospital in Cardiff believes that listening to music on headphones too much can have pretty disturbing consequences.
Aziz studied 30 sufferers and for some reason singled out iPod users as being susceptible to imagining “music constantly playing in the head.”
As PS reports, he said: “It can be distressing; people bombarded by music tend to hear music.”
One listener studied is thought to have heard a film soundtrack going constantly around her head. Let’s just hope it wasn’t Titanic!
