Victor Edward Willis – the Village People’s original cop outfitted singer – has been arrested by real life police, who found a gun and rock cocaine in his Chevrolet Corvette last week.
The singer who co-wrote such disco belters as ‘Macho Man’ and ‘In the Navy,’ was stopped by police for not having a driving license or identification documents.- at first he lied about his name. What was he thinking?! With a moustache that big he can be recognised for miles around…
Police found rock cocaine and a 45-caliber handgun in the car plus traces of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia in the star’s luxury pad: a mobile home in a trailer park south of San Fransico.
Willis who already had an outstanding felony warrant for possession of narcotics, will be charged on six felony counts, including possession of a firearm, driving on suspended license and transportation of cocaine.
