Beyonce KnowlesFormer star of Destiny’s Child, Beyonce Knowles, is being sued by a songwriter who claims that she wrote the hit ‘Baby Boy’ months before it was released.

Jennifer Armour, from Minneapolis, has claimed that her song ‘Got A Little Bit Of Love For You’ fell into Beyonce hands after she shopped around for a new track in March 2003.

Armour has filed a copyright infringement lawsuit that alleges the lyrics and hook from ‘Baby Boy’ were stolen from her own tune, reports Ananova. The suit will be taken to court on October 28 in Houston, Texas.

‘Baby Boy’ featured guest vocalist Sean Paul and made in to No.2 in the UK in October 2003.
