The Dead 60s are set to release a 23 track double-album for their debut release in September.
The Liverpool bands self titled record will consist of one CD featuring the main album tracks and singles plus a second extra CD featuring 10 dub tracks.
Speaking to Gigwise guitarist Ben Gordon said the band were “gutted” that their debut was “not out for the summer” due to their touring commitments in America but that the album had “turned out a lot better than they’d hoped.”
Gordon also revealed that although the band don’t release their debut in the UK until September 12 they already have the beginnings of some new material and hope to go into the studio to record their second long player before the end of 2005.
