Chris Martin has vowed that Coldplay want to be better than Amadeus Mozart himself.
The 28-year-old frontman claims Coldplay don’t want to rest at being bigger than Bono or Paul McCartney, they aim to be up there with one of the biggest classical composers ever.
Martin told the Daily Star: “You want to be able to hold your head up high in a room with Paul McCartney and Bono.”
“We’re trying to get to the very highest level. We want to be better than Mozart.
“It doesn’t mean that we are, but that’s what we’re trying for: There’s no point trying for anything less.”
It looks like Coldplay won’t even be bigger than that pesky crazy frog this week!
