Michael Jackson is expected to take to the stand to give evidence in his child molestation trial.
Outside the courtroom in Santa Maria yesterday, Jacko’s spokesperson Raymone Bain hinted Jackson wants to testify, reports the Daily Star.
Ms Bain said: “Michael wants the world to know that he did not molest any children and he wants to tell the truth. He would not be upset to testify.
She went on to defend his innocence. She said: “He has never acted inappropriately with a child. Michael just likes making people happy.
“The hardest thing for him is to come to the court and be vilified. Overall, he is a good person.”
The revelation means that the trial could go on for up to ten weeks more than expected. Ms Bain admitted that the trial was taking its toll on the star, saying: “He has been a bit uncomfortable in court.”
Meanwhile, staff at the Neverland ranch claimed yesterday they never saw the King-of-pop behave inappropriately to young boys.
The case continues.
