Morrissey is set to sign a new record deal with the intention of releasing two new albums next year, according to his manager.
Despite just finishing a world tour in support of his 2006 album ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors,’ Morrissey’s manager, Merck Mercuriadis, said that he’s also already planning new dates for 2008.
"He'll be back out in January," Mercuriadis told Billboard. "We'll take a short break and then start again in March."
Mercuriadis said that the two albums would consist of a ‘Greatest Hits’ album which would include two new songs and a new studio LP, produced by Jerry Finn.
Finn previously worked with Morrissey on his 2004 album, ‘You Are The Quarry.’
