The Eagles Announce London Gig With 950 Pound Ticket Price
Share

The Eagles have announced a private gig in London where tickets will cost £950 each.

The one-off show at the Indigo2 venue – which is inside the O2 Arena – will take place on October 31st and will be limited to 2,300 people.

The tickets for what a spokeswoman described as a "once in a lifetime gig" will only be available to invited members of the music industry.

The gig is being held to coincide with the release of the band’s new album, ‘Long Road Out of Eden.’

The album is the first time that band members Glenn Frey, Timothy B Schmit, Don Henley and Joe Walsh have released a new studio album since 1979’s, ‘The Long Run.’

After splitting in 1980, the band hit the road again in 1994 and have since released a number of live albums in between tours.

  • I’m an old school Eagles fan and looking at this it’s a discrace. It’s not as if they’re up to their best - a bunch of tired men feeding the machine - and their own pockets. Put it to rest guys and lets keep the cherished memories of what was one of the true great bands. As for the guy who ”bought 10 tickets - no biggie” What an asshole!!

  • Baby boomers, like myself, who watched the Eagles perform and supported them over the years are disappointed that we can no longer afford to go to their concerts...what a slap in the face to loyal fans.

    • I agree with Jets comments,i too have supported the boys througout their careers as a group and as indivuals. To have a concertlike this which excludes the true fan is inexcusable, especially when Glen and Don are allways going on about the ”RIPOFF MUSIC INDUSTRY” Thanks Guys.

  • It’s a private gig for invited industry people who can well afford it. Even if you could afford the cost you couldn’t get a ticket without an invite. Regular concerts won’t be so high.

  • Not even a decent band can command that sort of money. They must have delusions of adequacy... I paid a tenner for their greatest hits, that's enough.
