The Red Hot Chili Peppers have made it into the record books to become one of the most successful recording artists of all time.
The Guinness British Hit Singles and Albums book every year ranks artists according to how long they have spent in the UK single and album charts.
The Chilis are the only new entry this year – coming in at number 97.
Spandeau Ballet have been dropped from the list and Michael Jackson is the highest climber, now at number 8.
Elvis Presley still tops the list, having notched up 2,463 weeks in the UK singles and albums charts.
A spokesman said of the Chilis: "It's very rare to get new acts breaking into the Top 100, so this really is an incredible achievement."
The top ten acts are:
1. Elvis Presley (2,463 weeks)
2. Cliff Richard (1,972 weeks)
3. The Beatles (1,742 weeks)
4. Queen (1,725 weeks)
5. Madonna (1,653 weeks)
6. Elton John (1,615 weeks)
7. The Shadows (1,578 weeks)
8. Michael Jackson (1,477 weeks)
9. David Bowie (1,459 weeks)
10. U2 (1,402 weeks)
