Easily mistaken for Halloween confectionary, Cherry Ghost instead produce a Prozac driven country-style ramble about love and being up late and stealing apples and jumping in haystacks…you get the idea. Well crafted and sentimental, '4am' takes the traditional style and decorates this with dulcet organ-esque tones. This is certainly something novel and different to have originated in this fair isle. Yet in a land of non-existent summers and weather with more gloom than a Goth convention, it’s not too likely to see us rolling in the fields before long.
