An unofficial campaign for Amy Winehouse to sing the next James Bond theme tune has been boosted thanks to the support of 007 composer, David Arnold.
Although rumours were denied that the soul diva was in talks with Bond creators last year about singing the theme for the twenty-second movie – which is due out next year – according to reports, Winehouse is still a contender for the role.
The films composer, David Arnold said: "Amy Winehouse had the best record of last year. I haven't asked her yet, but I think she'd be good, although Bond songs can be a bit of a war zone."
According to contact music, Arnold believes Winehouse’s powerful vocals would be just right for the film.
