Rapper The Game has been hit with gun charges following an alleged fight at a basketball game in February.

The formal charges of making a criminal threat and possessing a firearm in a school area follow The Game’s arrest on 11 May, when his house was searched by police.

Police say The Game, real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor, punched a player during a basketball game in Los Angeles on 23 February, then threatened to shoot him after producing a gun from his car.

If found guilty he faces a maximum sentence of five years.
