Courtney Love Finally Performs Live

Courtney Love has proved she can play a whole set without drinking, violence, or causing any sort trouble really.

The queen of grunge made her return to the live circuit last night in San Diego.

Drinking only diet coke since a judge at her last court case ordered her to undergo drugs treatment, 400 die hard fans turned out to see Love and co play tracks from her album ‘America’s Sweetheart’ including ‘Mono’ and ‘But Julian I’m A Little Bit Older Then You’ as well as a cover of ‘The House Of The Rising Sun’.

According to NME, at times Love was seem reading the lyrics from a music stand.

Love did not play the guitar during the whole set instead she smoked incessantly as she belted out Hole classics such as ‘Celebrity Skin’ and ‘Violet’.

Despite being able to remember the words or be together enough to play the guitar, the politically astute performer did remember to ask the audience to vote (groan…)

"Are you going to fucking vote?" she asked. "I need you to get me out of fucking trouble. Please vote."
