The Phil Spector murder trial is set to begin today (March 19), four years after the producer was charged with killing an actress at his home.
Judge Larry Paul Fiddler will start selecting a jury today and tomorrow from a possible 300 candidates.
Although the trial itself will be televised next month, there will cameras present over the coming two days for the jury selection.
Actress Lana Clarkson died from a single gun-shot wound at Spector’s mansion in 2003.
The record producer denies killing the 40-year-old saying that Clarkson had committed suicide.
Spector is currently free on a $1million bail, but faces a life sentence if he is found guilty of the allegations.
Phil Spector worked on records by the likes of The Beatles, The Ronettes and The Righteous Brothers’ classic ‘Unchained Melody.’

- They were in a suicide pact, but when Phil tried to shoot himself in the head it bounced of his hair.
He looks like one of the aliens from ”Mars Attacks”.

- Obviously the guy killed her. Does a man with hair like that really come across as stable?
... and has he ever looked in a mirror???

- Sideshow Bob did it!!!!
