Klaxons are at number one in the midweek charts and are firm favourites to claim the top spot come Sunday.
The trio are outselling last weeks chart topper The View’s ‘Hats Off To The Buskers’ and sturdy competition from Norah Jones.
In a Myspace bulletin, the band said: “Absolute madness is upon us, ‘Myths’ is sitting on the big chair at number one in the middle of the week chart. Ridiculous it is… couldn’t be happier.
“So a massive thank you to everyone who has been there and holding it, and a small word of encouragement to those who haven’t – to help us keep Norah from the throne.”
