The Kooks have announced that they have started work on the follow-up to their 2006 smash hit, ‘Inside In, Inside Out.’
Work on their as yet un-titled second album has begun in earnest in their hometown of Brighton – in a bid to escape the expectancy of the ‘difficult’ second album syndrome.
Band frontman Luke Pritchard told the NME: “To be honest I don't give a fuck how the next record does because I never expected any of this - well, I do give a fuck, but it isn't what my focus is.”
Although Pritchard might not “give a fuck how the record does,” don’t expect it to sound that different from the acoustic sounds of their debut as they’ve once again lined up Tony Hoffer to produce the LP.
