Following her comments about Madonna last year, Lily Allen as hit out at the ‘Queen of Pop’... again.
This time she is accusing Madge of only selling records thanks to her popularity, rather than quality of tunes.
She said: “I never say anything unprovoked, but an interviewer asked me who, in my opinion, was the most overrated pop star”
“And overrated for me is someone who sells a lot of records because of who they are. And I don’t think people buy Madonna’s records because they think they’re really good” she continued.
Last Summer Lily Allen began her feud with Madonna by saying: “She might have meant something once but I don’t know many people my age who care.”
Lily, of course, is famous for her outspoken comments. So far Madonna has refused to reply: maybe she just doesn’t care.
