Legendary Welsh singer Tom Jones will fight former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Mike Tyson later this year.

The Delilah star is one of the celebrities lined up to face the controversial sportsman in a series of charity bouts – but has been reassured he’s not going to get “smashed” by the boxer.

Tyson reveals to the Irish Examiner, “It's just going to be marvellous. Tom Jones is going to be one of the boxers. What if I get beat? Who knows - I might even enjoy it! I'm not interested in smashing people. This is going be fun."
