My Chemical Romance have revealed that they aim to record their next album in Japan.
The chart-conquering band recorded their new album ‘The Black Parade’ at an isolated spot in Los Angeles, and now want to take the recording process elsewhere.
Speaking to Gigwise about the recording of ‘The Black Parade’, frontman Gerard Way said: “We stayed in this place called The Paramour which is a house that was owned by Antonio Moreno from The Creature From The Black Lagoon.
“And it was very cold and very isolated and very haunted we feel. We didn’t really see anything too much but it was alienating and I think it affected us all mentally y’know not always in positive ways, and I think it dragged a lot of stuff out of us that wasn’t so pretty.”
He continued: “I think the next record we wouldn’t stay there, we’d try something totally new. We’ve been actually discussing Japan.
“Which would be a different kind of alienation. But we got what we needed out of that house.”
