Legendary record store Rough Trade has announced plans to go digital with its own MP3 shop.
They plan to launch the new venture at midday on November 14 and say the online shop will feel like “a trip down Talbot Road or a saunter into Convent Garden.”
As with the existing real world shop staff will be on hand to give advice on their top tips for shoppers.
Another feature will enable new, unsigned bands to sell there wares through the shop, all you need do is take a CDR to one of Rough Trades existing London establishments.
There is no news yet on the prices the new version of Rough Trade will charge for the MP3s.
