Snow Patrol have been forced to cancel two US tour dates because of the terrorist alerts that have hit Britain.
The band were due to kick start their jaunt in Seattle on Saturday (August 12), but only two of them were able to make it Stateside in time.
They were subsequently forced to cancel their show in Portland last night.
A statement on their official website explains: “Due to the recent terrorist alert which has caused innumerable flight delays and cancellations both in the UK and United States, we regret to inform you that Snow Patrol will not be able to perform two scheduled shows this weekend in Auburn, Washington and Portland, OR.
"The band members were flying from different cities, and while two (Nathan and Tom) did make it to the U.S., the rest did not. Continued delays and problems securing new flights have made it impossible for the three others (Gary, Johnny, and Paul) to arrive in time for the concerts.
"Snow Patrol regrets any inconvenience or disappointment it has caused its fans."
Fortunately, the band have all made it out in time to honour the rest of the tour, starting in Boston on Tuesday (August 15).
