Dirty Pretty Things have had to draft in Paddington’s guitarist Josh Hubbard to cover for Carl Barat on their upcoming US tour dates.
The band begin their first US tour tonight in Los Angeles but Barat will be restricted to singing duties only after breaking his collarbone.
Confirming the news on their official website DPT wrote: “Carl had an unfortunate accident and broke his collarbone in Taiwan last week.”
“For those fans that have tickets to the first American tour, which starts tomorrow, fear not. No dates are being cancelled and Dirty Pretty Things will become a five piece temporarily, borrowing Josh from The Paddington’s to take over Carl’s guitar duties.”
Dirty Pretty Things play six US shows in total including two at New York’s Bowery Ballroom.
