A man has been arrested in connection with the attack which left Les Incompetents singer Billy Leeson fighting for his life.
Police have confirmed that a man was held after going to a police station on Sunday (July 2) and still remains in custody.
As previously reported, Leeson was punched in the face in Kentish Town, London causing him to fall over and hit his head.
The incident is believed to have happened after a man made “advances” towards Leeson’s girlfriend as they travelled home on the number 29 bus.
The singer since had an operation to remove a piece of skull putting pressure on his brain.
Despite the arrest, police are still appealing for more witnesses to come forward.
Billy Leeson remains in a critical but stable condition at the Royal Free Hospital.
