Black Eyed Peas Star Quizzed Over Bar Brawl

The Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am is being investigated for a fight in Germany this week – but it’s got nothing to do with football.

Police are looking into the singer’s conduct after a fight broke out at a nightclub in Berlin’s 40seconds nightclub in the early hours of Thursday morning.

According to reports the group’s bodyguard got involved in a fight with the club’s doorman, who was pictured with a bloody head. Both men, along with will.i.am – real name William Adams – were taken in by police for questioning on possible serious bodily harm charges, before being released.

Police spokesperson Ronny Frank says, “A champagne bottle was used, but as far as what the singer did, there are various reports that contradict one another, and it's not yet clear what happened.”

A report in a German newspaper claims the fight broke out after the band’s bodyguard refused to stop waving members of their entourage into the club’s VIP area, despite being told by bouncer’s the area was full.
