Belle & Sebastian Draft Franz, Lips For Charity Record

Belle & Sebastian’s Mick Cooke is set to take charge of a new compilation with the money raised going to the Save The Children charity.

The compilation will be released via Rough Trade on September 11 and Cooke has drafted in a host of noted luminaries to appear on it.

The as yet untitled record will feature the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Flaming Lips, Snow Patrol, Fiery Furnaces, Travis, Snow Patrol and The Divine Comedy.
