Pete Doherty has been arrested by Police today, forcing Babyshambles to cancel their anti-racism show in Trafalgar Square.
Police “busted into” the Babyshambles frontman’s London flat to arrest Doherty, according to Adam Ficek from the band.
Despite Ficek’s claims to the BBC, police have failed to reveal that it is Doherty but confirmed that they had arrested a 27-year-old man.
The arrest is thought to relate to the pictures of Pete, which appeared in The Sun earlier this week where he allegedly injected a female fan with a drug.
The Love Music Hate Racism gig was headlined by Belle and Sebastian.
