D-12 Rapper Jailed For Attending Proof Funeral

D-12 rapper Swift has been jailed for 93 days after missing a court appearance to attend the funeral of his bandmate Proof.

The MC was scheduled to appear at a Detroit court on Wednesday, but acted as a pall-bearer for Proof, who was gunned down earlier this month, instead.

However, District Court Judge MacKenzie was unimpressed by Swift’s excuse, following his arrest for breaking the terms of his alcohol-related probabtion.

The judge said, “While I recognize the importance of attending a funeral… there is a requirement that you make some effort to comply with a court order."
