Martin Gilks, former drummer with the Wonderstuff, has died in London following a motorcycle accident.
Gilks, who enjoyed success with tracks such ‘Welcome To The Cheap Seats’ and ‘The Size Of A Cow’ with the band, had more recently worked as a manager for bands such as Reef, Hundred Reasons and A.
A spokesperson for his company, Furtive, said: "He was greatly loved by many and will be sorely missed by all his family and friends."
He died on Monday (April 3) in St Georges Hospital, Tooting as a result of internal injuries following the accident on Sunday reports the BBC.
Gilks was a member of The Mighty Lemon Drops before linking up with The Wonder Stuff and played in shows during a band reunion in 2000.
He leaves a son and a daughter.
