Coldplay star Chris Martin’s second child will have a more sensible name – Mortimer.

The singer’s Hollywood star wife Gwyneth Paltrow – who famously named their first child Apple - wants to name their new edition after legendary film director Steven Speilberg, who knows as “Uncle Morty”.

A source tells the Daily Record, “Gwyneth wants to call him Mortimer after her godfather, Steven Spielberg, whom she calls Uncle Morty. She thinks it'll be cute."

The new baby is expected to make an appearance in May.
