A judge has pledged that he will take control of Marion Suge Knight’s business and personal assets after he failed to pay a $107million civil lawsuit from last year.
At the hearing yesterday (March 23), Los Angeles Judge Ronald Sohigian revealed he is to appoint a court officer to organize Knight’s assets.
However, Knight, who didn’t attend yesterday, can prevent proceedings if he reveals all his assets in court.
The ruling stems from a case in March 2005 when Knight was ordered to pay $107million to Lydia Harris after it was found that she was defrauded out of money on the label.
