The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand and The Who Confirmed For Oxegen

Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Who, The Strokes and Franz Ferdinand have all been confirmed for 2006’s Oxegen Festival.

Also on the bill will be Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Primal Scream, The Magic Numbers, Sigur Ros, Richard Ashcroft and Damien Marley.

Tickets for the festival which takes place at Punchestown in County Kildare go on sale February 24 at 9am via the MTV website.

Felix Da Housecat, Bellx1, David Morales and Manu Chao are also on the line up with more acts expected to be announced shortly.
