Pete Doherty Arrested In Hackney

Pete DohertyFurther descending into farce and cliche, Pete Doherty was arrested yet again this weekend, this time on suspicion of possessing drugs (well what else, really?).

Doherty, who is already on bail over other similar charges, was searched by police officers whose suspicions were aroused by his 'erratic' behaviour.

According to the Sunday Mirror, his Jaguar had stopped in Hackney on Saturday morning when police were in fact pulling over the car behind his (a bit unlucky some would say).

He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and for possession of class A and class C drugs.

A statement was issued by Scotland Yard following the arrest.

Doherty was bailed to return to a north London station on 2 February. He is already facing possible jail time for two separate drugs offences.

Surely he can't carry on like this?
