Ms Dynamite has been formally charged with assaulting a female police officer and for disorderly conduct.

The acclaimed singer was arrested at the Paragon Lounge Nightclub in London where she is accused of kicking a door and then being abusive to police who questioned her.

Once taken into custody Dynamite – real name Naomi McLean Daley - is alleged to have hit a policewoman in the nose.

She has now been bailed and is due to appear before magistrates on Friday.

Ms Dynamite had been out celebrating her younger brother’s birthday, Kingsley Daley, who has been charged with obstructing police.

The third member of the entourage Carlen Goodwin was also arrested and charged with a public disorder offence.
