Prince Signs To Universal; Readies New Album

Purple PainPaisley loving pop legend Prince has signed a new record deal with Universal and is set to release a new album enetitled ‘3121’.

The record, Prince’s first since 2004’s ‘Musicology’, will be preceded by the single ‘Te Amo Corazon’, the video for which was directed by Hollywood actress Salma Hayek.

The video will be available for download from Prince’s NPG Music Club site on December 13 reports Billboard and a press conference to reveal more details about the new material has been called in Los Angeles for the same day.

The album will reportedly be supported by a tour sometime in 2006.
