Two People Shot At US Hip Hop Gig

Two people have been shot and injured outside a Lil’ Flip gig at a nightclub in Minneapolis.

The incident occurred outside the Quest venue in the city early on Sunday morning during the performance by the American rapper.

Police quickly evacuated the venue at 2am and searched everyone leaving the building, asking them to exit with their hands above their heads reports MTV.

"A couple of officers actually saw the muzzle blast from the gun so they were very, very close," said Police spokesman htold local TV station WCCO. The station also reported that at least one man was handcuffed after the searches.

Witnesses at the scene told WCCO that the club was chaotic after the incident and that the shooting may actually have taken place in the building, one saying: “Some dude got shot up in there, because they were acting crazy. I don't even understand what the whole thing was about. They were shooting on the floor."

The two people injured are as yet unidentified and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been made so far.
