Pete Doherty Goes Back Into Rehab

Pete DohertyTroubled Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty has gone into the same rehab centre his on’off girlfriend Kate Moss has just left.

Doherty reportedly flew to Arizona’s Meadows clinic at the weekend in an attempt to finally beat his crack cocaine addiction in a bid to win Moss back.

Moss spent a month in the clinic after her own drugs scandal and told Doherty that she would refuse to see him until he cleaned up his act. A source told today’s Sun: “Pete has realised his love for her is greater than his love for drugs.”

Doherty, whose album with Babyshambles ‘Down In Albion’ currently sits at No 10 in the charts, has apparently spent the last two weeks on a bender with friends in the West Country.

The source added: It was a mammoth effort to get Pete on the plane. He was very emotional. Whe he returns he will not be able to associate with anyone who he used to do drugs with.”

“Kate has spoken to him by phone to wish him the best.”
