R Kelly has launched a fresh lawsuit against Jay Z – for a staggering $16million – over the alleged pepper spray attack last year.
The singer who believes he can fly has already filed a $75million lawsuit over 2004’s disastrous ‘Best of Both Worlds’ joint tour.
The new lawsuit put forward at the Manhattan Supreme Court claims Jay Z and an associate – Tyran Smith - fired pepper spray at him following a show at Madison Square Gardens.
The suit says: “Jay Z failed to use any reasonable care in supervising Smith and failed to correct Smith’s violent acts by taking the actions of a responsible employer – disavowing Smith’s act, firing him and allowing R Kelly to continue on the tour,” reports dotmusic.
A lawsuit counteracting R Kelly’s claim was thrown out of court last year.
