Michael Jackson Public Memorial Service: Full Details Revealed See them now...

A public memorial for Michael Jackson will take place next Tuesday in Los Angeles following a private funeral, it’s been announced.
Fan can register for the free tickets to the event at the Staples Center, which gets under way at 10am (PST).
Eleven thousand tickets will be chosen at random, while an additional 6,500 will be available at the Nokia Theatre.
Los Angeles police chief Earl Paysinger said: "If you do not have a ticket, if you are not credentialed, not only will you not be allowed at these venues, you will not be allowed in this area."

Powerful Sedative 'Discovered At Michael Jackson's House' Official claims...

A powerful sedative, commonly used ahead of operations, has been discovered at Michael Jackson’s home in Los Angeles, police have said.
Officials found the intravenous anesthetic Diprivan – also known as Propofol – during an extensive search in the wake of the star’s death.
The drug helps induce a patient into unconsciousness before surgery, according to the Associated Press.
Sky News claims other drugs were found during the searches at Jackson’s rented Holmby Hills home shortly after is death on June 25.

Tickets For Michael Jackson's Public Memorial Will Be Free Gigwise understands...

Fans will be able to register for tickets to Michael Jackson's public memorial service, Gigwise understands
The ceremony will take place at the Staples Center at 10am on Tuesday (July 7).
Eleven thousand tickets will be made available to the general public, who will have to register in advance.
Guests reported to be attending the public memorial include Jackson's close friends Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross, who was named in the star's will.
Full details about the ceremony will be announced during a press conference at the Staples Center later.

US president Barack Obama has revealed he still has all of Michael Jackson's music on his iPod.
Obama, whose MP3 player is also known to include hits by Stevie Wonder and Jay-Z, said Jackson "will go down in history as one of our greatest entertainers”.
The president spoke about the King of Pop, who died on June 25, during an interview at the White House yesterday.
He said Jackson had been given “extraordinary gifts” and bought “great joy” to his fans.

Michael Jackson Set For Huge Royalties Boost Following Death PRS for Music says...

Michael Jackson's estate looks set to be bolstered substantially by royalty payments following the singer's sudden death.
Sales of Jackson's music and his radio airplay has increased dramatically over the last seven days, PRS for Music said.
The organisation, which represents musicians and songwriters, said Jackson had received an “unprecedented 1,735%” increase in the amount of airplay compared to the week before his death.
Although the singer often worked with songwriters, Jackson wrote a number of his biggest hits, including 'Billie Jean' and 'Beat It'.
In most cases, if there is no prior agreement, 50% of royalty payments go to the creators of a song.
As previously reported on Gigwise, in his 2002 will Jackson left his estate to The Jackson Family Trust Fund, which includes his three children.

Jamie T has announced details of a huge UK and Ireland tour, which gets under way in Bristol on October 1.
The tour also includes dates in Nottingham, Leeds and Dublin.
The near-month long trip will support Jamie T's second album, 'Kings & Queens', which is due to be released later in the summer.

Kraftwerk were joined by Great Britain's Olympic cycling team at a very special 3D show in Manchester last night.
The German music legends were performing 'Tour de France' at the Velodrome when the athletes came on and hurtled around the 250 metre track.
Naturally, this was rapturously received by the sell-out crowd bedecked in 3D glasses.
A fan told BBC6music: "I think I died and went to heaven when the cyclists came out for Tour De France. That’s the best track and action I've ever seen working together - it's my gig of the year."

An American journalist has savaged the late Michael Jackson in a highly controversial article published just a week after his death.
In the article, titled 'Shed No Tears For This Twisted Sicko', New York Post writer Linda Stasi pulls no punches as she attacks the King of Pop, who died on June 25.
She opens her opinion piece by writing: “You'd have thought by the media lovefest that the pope had died a tragic death after a lifetime of caring for lepers.”
Stasi continued that Jackson was a “drug-addled, creepy-beyond-words, accused pedophile who literally bought his children with the help of two brood mares and, apparently, his dermatologist.”

The line-up for this year's Get Loaded in the Park has expanded again with 10 new acts confirmed.
Added to the bill are MSTRKRFT, Telepathe, Tom Middleton, John Kennedy, The Count & Sinden, MPHO, Goldfish, Blame feat. Selah, We Are Enfant Terrible, Live Tech Rebelz and Fish Don't Dance DJs.
They join up a line-up that already boasts Orbital, Laurent Garnier, Felix Da Housecat, Booka Shade, Peaches, Carl Craig and many more.
Royksopp will be headlined Gigwise's co-hosted stage with Xfm.

Blur triumphed in front of 55,000 fans at the first of two dates at London's Hyde Park last night.
Just like their closing headline slot at Glastonbury on Sunday, it was a highly charged, emotional show with Damon Albarn looking close to tears before 'Popscene'.
He told the crowd just before they launched into the track: "We feel very privileged to be able to do nothing for years and then come back to this. It's really incredible."
He failed to break into full-blown tears, however, like he did following At The End at Worthy Farm.
